Who We Are
Built on a Foundation of First Responder Trust
Keen AV was founded with a single purpose: to help fire departments navigate the complex world of alerting technology — without the sales pitch.
Our Mission
Independent Advice. Reliable Systems.
We exist to serve fire departments, not vendors. As independent consultants, we have no financial relationship with any alerting system manufacturer. That means our recommendations are driven entirely by what's right for your station, your budget, and your crew.
Vendor-Neutral
We evaluate all major alerting platforms objectively and recommend the best fit for your specific needs — not the highest commission.
First Responder Focused
Every recommendation we make is filtered through one question: will this reliably wake up and alert your crew when it matters most?
Technical Depth
From IP infrastructure to audio distribution, we understand the full technology stack behind modern fire station alerting.
Long-Term Partnership
We don't disappear after the report. We stay engaged through procurement, installation, and commissioning to ensure the system performs as designed.
Our Approach
How We Work With Fire Departments
Discovery & Assessment
We start by understanding your current system, infrastructure, staffing model, and pain points. No assumptions — just listening.
Technology Evaluation
We evaluate alerting platforms, audio systems, and network requirements against your specific station layout and operational needs.
Roadmap & Specification
We produce a clear, actionable technology roadmap and detailed system specification ready for procurement or bid.
Implementation Support
We stay involved through vendor selection, installation oversight, and final commissioning to ensure the system is delivered as specified.
